1981-83 NCHEMS-Kellogg Student Outcomes Project - One of seven in the U. S. funded by a grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and administered by the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems in Boulder, Colorado. ($12,500)

1986-89 Assessment Resource Center - One of 75 projects selected from an application pool of 2100 for support by the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education. ($374,000)

1988 Higher Education Assessment Audit. Invited to become sole source contractor for project funded by the Assistant Secretary for Educational Research and Improvement, U.S. Department of Education. ($10,000)

1989-92 Applying Deming's Quality Improvement Strategies to Assessment in Higher Education. One of 70 projects funded by FIPSE from an application pool of 2000. ($363,000)

1990 A Longitudinal Study of the Gain in Student Development Promoted by a General Education Program. Project funded by the American Association for Higher Education. ($2,000)

1990-92 Development of a national survey, "Quality and Importance of Recreational Activities," for the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association. ($20,000)

1993 Computerized Adaptive Testing for Elementary Talent Development Selection. Project funded with a Kempf grant from Indiana University School of Education. ($8,200)

1996 Flashlight Project (Evaluation of the use of technology in instruction.) Contract with Annenberg/CPB ($35,000).
