Service/Outreach Projects

    Indianapolis Public School District Current Academic Year: Academic Coach for Magnet School Assistance Program (Federal Funding) Responsibilities include classroom collaboration with the K/1 teachers at Cold Spring Academy. Focus of the collaboration involves curriculum design and implementation, and assessment of student performance in the areas of language arts, reading and mathematics.

    1999-2000: Co-Facilitator, Project Design for Online Professional Development. Pariticpants included sixth grade teachers within the district. Professional Conversations about Mathematics Instruction.

    1998-1999: Mathematics Facilitator for Educate Indiana Grant: Best Practices. Participants included elementary lead teachers in the Northwest Boundary.

    Summers 1998 & 1999: Professional Development Facilitator for Summer Intensive Seminars. Workshop participants included elementary teachers within the district. Weaving Algebraic Thinking into the Curriculum, July 1999. Standards-Based Instruction for K-3 Mathematics, June 1999. Implementing Standards-Based Mathematics Instruction, 1998 (Two Sessions)

    Summer, 1999: Professional Development Facilitator: Workshop participants included elementary teachers within the district. Number Sense for Grades K-3.

    Summer 1998: Professional Development Co-Facilitator with Sue T. Mau. Workshop participants included elementary teachers within the district. Supporting Elementary Students for Success in Mathematics (Two Sessions).
