Water Fitness
Come and experience the power of water resistance while burning calories and building muscle. Our experienced and internationally renowned instructors will take you through a variety of workouts that benefit all fitness levels.
Shallow and deep water fitness sessions are offered at the Outdoor Pool. Come out and take advantage of this excellent form of exercise taught by nationally certified instructors.
Deep and shallow water fitness comes free with a summer membership, without one, it will cost $5.00 per class or $20.00 for a 5 five day water fitness pass.

Instructors
Meet the Water Fitness instructors.
Deep Water Fitness
A 45 minute non-impact workout in the diving well. The class is designed to give you a strong cardiovascular workout with some segments on muscle groups. You need to be comfortable in the deep water and we will provide buoyancy belts and water exercise gloves.
Deep Water Running
A running simulation with all the benefits of buoyancy and the advantage of liquid resistance. This 30 minute water running class stays true to the principles of interval training and tempos of running on land. With a high level of intensity, this workout is designed to be short and sweet! You need to be comfortable in deep water. Buoyancy belts are provided.
Shallow Water Fitness
This interactive shallow water class combines all aspects of fitness (cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility) for all fitness abilities. On warmer days we focus less on cardio to maintain a safe environment.
Notes:
Instructors may switch occasionally due to schedule/changes/vacations
Swimming skills are not necessary in the shallow water exercise class. Comfort in deep water is required for the deep water exercise classes. You will not get your hair wet in either class if you do not want to!
Bring your own sunscreen, hats and water bottles. Check the schedule for special events!
