The Frolic cargo included Chinese household goods, silks, Scottish ale and a Troutman anchor (new mid 19th century technology), when it wrecked in 1850 near the Mendocino, California coastline. Indiana University is conserving a selection of these artifacts which will be returned to Califonia State Parks for future exhibits.
