SWSEEL Classes
SWSEEL classes are always fun. Teachers are from all over the world and engage participants in active and unique ways to help them learn.
The Baltic Studies Summer Institute (BALSSI) was founded in 1994 and is at present partially funded by a consortium of several American universities: UCLA, Harvard University, the University of Illinois, Indiana University, the University of Iowa, the University of Michigan, the University of Texas-Austin, the University of Washington, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. BALSSI was held at Indiana University in 1998, 1999, and 2005, and 2006.
The BALSSI instruction program is complemented by a rich variety of cultural programs, including a film series, lectures, concerts, and a Midsummer celebration. Below are some pictures of last year's classes and professors.
