Languages of Central Asia and the Caucasus

The 2009 Workshop will offer the following languages:
- First and second year Azerbaijani
- First year Georgian
- First and second year Kazakh
- First year Mongolian*
- First year Pashto
- First and second year Tajik
- First and second year Turkmen
- First and second year Uyghur
- First and second year Uzbek

Courses listed above are offered in the Workshop with the cooperation
of the Department of Central Eurasian Studies, the Inner Asian and
Uralic National Resource Center at Indiana University, and the Center for Languages of the
Central Asian Region. Eight credit hours are granted for language courses to undergraduates
and six hours are granted to graduate students. Ten credit hours are granted to undergraduates and graduates for first-year Georgian.
Films, a lecture series, and cooking demonstrations are included
as part of this program.
