The Living Composers Forum is an annual event held at the Jacobs School of Music. Students who participate in this event are involved in several masterclasses with the composer which culminate into a final performance recital. The IU SNATS Chapter brings experts from Indiana University and across the country to speak about issues pertaining to singing, vocal pedagogy, and the business of singing. The lectures occur monthly and feature speakers presenting issues on a variety of topics. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to attend. The New Voice Educators Symposium is designed to provide a forum for information and discussion about topics related to vocal performance, vocal pedagogy, voice science, vocal literature, and all related subjects.
