3rd Annual New Voice Educator's Symposium 2007

The New Voice Educator’s Symposium was formed by the IU Chapter of Student NATS to provide the opportunity for students and beginning voice educators to present scholarly works, performances and workshops in a professional setting, as well as to provide pedagogical information to the greater voice community.

 

The Symposium is open to anyone who would like to attend.  Please contact Gregory Brookes, Chair of the 3rd Annual New Voice Educator's Symposium, if you have any questions at gbrookes@indiana.edu.  The dates of the 3rd Symposium are January 26-27th, 2007. 

Please contact Michael Match at mmatch@indiana.edu to RSVP.  Attendance is free, but by registering with Michael, we can provide you with a spot at our dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.

Congratulations to all of our presenters.  We had an excellent response from our call for participation and it was a difficult decision for the Symposium Committee.  Here is the schedule of events:

This year's Symposium will also feature Richard Hundley as part of our Living Composer Forum.  Select Jacobs' students will receive a coaching with Mr. Hundley and will perform at a lecture recital on January 26th, 2007 in Auer Hall at 5:00 PM.  Mark this recital in your calendars.
