What to Bring

Bloomington can be cold in February, so bring a jacket and mittens. You might want to view the forecast before you arrive. Assistantship providers will expect professional dress when interviewing. However, social gatherings will be business casual/casual dress. The following should serve as a guide for your packing:

  • Multiple copies of your resume
  • “Thank You” notes
  • Jacket and gloves
  • Toiletries and towel
  • Umbrella
  • Alarm clock
  • Interview clothes (suit or professional attire)
  • Casual clothes
  • Cash or Credit Card to purchase some meals on your own
  • Pocket change
  • Questions about HESA, IU, Bloomington, Indianapolis
