It’s another exciting week of swing dancing lessons! We are also
collecting swing membership dues ($10) so please pay those if you are
not taking lessons.
What you need to know:

8:30PM - "Is It Thanksgiving Vacation Yet?" Dance

2. West Coast Swing Workshop
You can register TONIGHT for our Beginning West Coast Workshop. The
cost is $25 for students and $30 for non-students. We can take checks
or cash. Here are the details about the workshop:
West Cost Swing Dance Workshop through IU Swing Dance Club Bloomington,
IN Saturday November 21 10:00AM – 5:00PM in HPER 171
Cost: $25 to IU Swing Club Members / $30 for Non-Members

The workshop will be followed by our annual live band charity dance

4. Tshirt Tagline Competition!
We are looking for tshirt taglines for our next club tshirt! If you
have an idea or design, please email us our lovely president Jennifer
Trueblood at jstruebl@indiana.edu.
We are expecting entries until DECEMBER 8TH. We will be voting on a
design at the next board meeting!

5. Teaching Apprenticeship Program
We are looking for students who want to teach swing dancing lessons!
Our wonderful instructor Christine will be coordinating this in
conjunction with the beginning lesson series.
The responsibilities associated with this are to attend a teaching
workshop on Saturday, attend the beginning lesson series, and critique
each lesson with Greg and Christine. Dancers that successfully complete
the teaching program will be consider for an instructor position over
the summer.
Requirements: students must have either beginning lesson series or
consent of instructor
If you are interested, please talk to an officer or Christine at the dance!

6. Work-Study Program Next Semester
We are looking for students to help set up and tear down equipment for
next semester! If you can do this all semester, you will receive FREE
swing dance lessons!
