End of Year Update

More than 100 of the academies participating in the Indiana University-Cisco Academy Evaluation Project offer the four-course CCNA Program over one-year. Students at these academies can complete CCNA4 in the next few weeks. It is very important that these students complete the CCNA4 Student Survey now-as they finish their program-and that two-year academies encourage their students to take the CCNA2 or CCNA3 Student Survey.

As a reminder, we will send students $10 if they complete the CCNA4 Student Survey and provide us with their complete contact information (see Guidelines for the Payment of Students Taking the CCNA Student Surveys ). All of the CCNA Student Surveys can be accessed from a link on the students' Cisco homepage.

Enjoy the remaining weeks of this academic year and the start of summer. Thank you for your involvement with the IU-Cisco CCNA Project; we look forward to working with you again in the fall.

Evaluation Project Update
  • The CCNA Instructors Survey is in full-swing and more than 2,300 instructors have completed it. If you have not already done so, please voice your opinions about CCNA by taking this short survey. The CCNA Instructors Survey may be accessed from a link on the right navigation bar on your Instructor Homepage.
Guidelines for the Payment of CCNA Students

Because of an agreement with Cisco, Indiana University can not pay CCNA students for taking the CCNA1 Student Survey. However, CCNA students doqualify for a $10 check when they take the CCNA2 Student Survey, the CCNA3 Student Survey, and/or the CCNA4 Student Survey (for a total of $30) if they meet the following criteria:

  1. Attend an Academy that is actively participating in the IU-Cisco Networking Academy Evaluation Project and were enrolled in CCNA1 during the fall of 2004,
  2. Complete all pages of the CCNA Student Survey , and,
  3. Provide their name and mailing information on the last page of the CCNA Student Survey.

Students access the CCNA Student Surveys from a link on their Cisco Student Homepage. The link will show in the left and right navigation when the students are enrolled in each course and are 50 – 130% through their course.

How can you help? Please encourage students to take the CCNA Student Surveys and to provide their mailing information on the last page of the survey if they want to receive the check.
