NEWS
FROM THE EVALUATION TEAM
Welcome to the third installment of the IU-Cisco Network Academy Evaluation newsletter! We're happy to have this opportunity to speak to you in this forum- though we've communicated with you by phone and through email for the last year. Thank you for your assistance in this important study! It is because of your support that The IU-Cisco Evaluation Project has advanced at a steady rate and we'd like to keep your good faith as we go through the next stage of the data collection.
It is of the utmost importance that you keep us in mind as a resource, especially with the progression of the CCNA Instructors Survey. If you have not already done so, please take the time to complete this survey. The link to the CCNA Instructors Survey is on your Cisco Homepage, and is located on the right-navigation pane on the lower part of the page (you must scroll down to see it). This survey is specifically designed for you and is an essential venue for you to provide your input! As always, we are both so pleased to have such wonderful people to work with and hope you enjoy your spring in CCNA and beyond.
Thanks and all the best,

Emily Wong & Elizabeth Pfaffle

- Due to the dynamic nature of the CCNA program, the evaluation team is now servicing students in CCNA 1,2, 3, and 4.
- The CCNA Instructors Survey is in full-swing and more than 2,200 instructors have completed the survey. If you have not already done so, please voice your opinions about CCNA by taking this short survey. Information-CCNA Student Surveys |
|
|
Indiana University can not pay CCNA students for taking the CCNA1 Student Survey because of an agreement with Cisco. However, we are pleased to give you the following information.
CCNA students qualify for a $10 check when they take the CCNA2 Student Survey, the CCNA3 Student Survey, and/or the CCNA4 Student Survey (for a total of $30) if they:
- Attend an Academy that is actively participating in the IU-CCNA Networking Academy Evaluation Project and were enrolled in CCNA1 during the fall of 2004,
- Complete all pages of the CCNA Student Survey , and,
- Provide their name and mailing information on the last page of the CCNA Student Survey.
Students access the CCNA Student Surveys from a link on their Cisco Student Homepage. The link will show in the left and right navigation when the students are between 50 – 130% through each course.
How can you help? Please encourage students to take the CCNA Student Surveys. Remind them to provide their mailing information to receive the check.
