ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THERAPEUTIC RECREATION



Students are eligible to enroll into the Therapeutic Recreation option upon completion of 26 credit hours and successfully completing the following procedures:

I. Admission Procedures: All students must complete the Department's Admission Application Form which includes a personal philosophy statement and a meeting with a Therapeutic Recreation faculty member.

II. Admission Criteria:

Students entering the University on or after August 1996:



Students entering the University before August 1996:

III. Advising Upon acceptance into the program, each student is assigned an academic advisor. Students are expected to meet regularly with their advisor and become well acquainted with the policies and procedures of the University and the Department of Recreation and Park Administration.
