photo of MaryFrances McCourt - TreasurerThe Office of the Treasurer is focused on the management, investment and financing of the University’s financial assets and liabilities with the goal of delivering financial flexibility and increased resources within appropriate risk parameters characterized by strong governance.

We seek to manage the cash flows in and out of the university in the most timely, efficient and secure environment; invest and safeguard the university’s financial assets in a manner which meets its liquidity needs, protects and preserves the value of its assets, and produces the maximum investment yield within policy guidelines; optimize financing structures for both long and short term capital needs with an emphasis on delivering a low cost of capital and the maintenance of its credit strength; and provide the expertise and tools to enable the implementation of the University’s strategic plan

The primary functions include banking services; cash and investment management; credit card services; e-business settlements: capital financing and debt management; treasury and endowment accounting & reporting; and all required SEC & bond compliance disclosures.
