Indiana University Treasurer, MaryFrances McCourt, sent the following email on April 3rd, 2009 inviting all IU staff that are involved with the processing of credit cards to attend a PCI DSS conference on the IU Bloomington campus.

"Please save May 1st, 2009 to attend a PCI DSS Conference offered by the Office of the Treasurer, in conjunction with the Information & Infrastructure Assurance Office, as part of our ongoing PCI DSS compliance initiative.  The conference will be held on the Bloomington campus.  Walt Conway, a national expert on PCI DSS will be here to lead the discussions on current compliance standards and new developments.  The conference will also include a technical and business breakout session to bring compliance standards down to levels of detail relevant to functional areas.

We strongly urge your participation at this conference.  As standards continually change and become more  stringent, ongoing training is imperative.  We expect to see one business and one technical representative from each merchant, realizing that in some limited instances these roles overlap.  Please forward this message to anyone to whom this may apply and I may inadvertently overlooked.

A detailed agenda and pre-conference questions will be distributed soon."

If you have any questions concerning this PCI DSS compliance conference then please send us an email.
