The IU Visitor Information Center is located in the Carmichael Center at the corner of Kirkwood and Indiana Avenues in downtown Bloomington, Indiana.

Directions

From the North (Indianapolis)

Take State Road 37 approximately 50 miles to the first Bloomington exit (Walnut St. / College Ave.). Take College Ave. south through seven stoplights to Kirkwood Ave. Turn left and continue until Kirkwood Ave. ends at Indiana Ave. Carmichael Center will be on your right, and the Visitor Information Center will be on the first floor. Enter from the East (Indiana Ave.) side of the building.

From the West (Terre Haute)

Take State Road 46 into Bloomington. At the intersection of SR 46/45 and College Ave. / Walnut Street, turn right. Take College Ave. south through five stoplights to Kirkwood Ave. Turn left and continue until Kirkwood Ave. ends at Indiana Ave. Carmichael Center will be on your right, and the Visitor Information Center will be on the first floor. Enter from the East (Indiana Ave.) side of the building.

From the South

Take State Road 37 north to the 3rd St. exit for Bloomington. Turn right onto 3rd St. and follow it downtown. Third St. will turn into 5th St., and then into Kirkwood Ave. Continue until Kirkwood Ave. ends at Indiana Ave. Carmichael Center will be on your right, and the Visitor Information Center will be on the first floor. Enter from the East (Indiana Ave.) side of the building.

From the East (Cincinnati)

Take State Road 46 into Bloomington, where SR 46 becomes E. 3rd St. Continue straight on E. 3rd St., and you will pass by campus on your right. Turn right at the stoplight for Indiana Ave. Drive two blocks to Kirkwood Ave. Carmichael Center will be on your left, and the Visitor Information Center will be on the first floor.
