Admissions Tours
Students interested in attending IU can attend the campus tours offered by the Office of Admissions. Besides a campus tour with a current IU student, they include an admissions information presentation, a tour of one of IU's residence halls, and personal academic advising (by appointment only).
The Office of Admissions is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and most Saturdays during the school year, 8 a.m. to noon. For more information, contact the Office of Admissions or call 812-855-0661.
Campus Tours
For Prospective Students and Parents
Sunday Afternoon Tours at 1 p.m.
For prospective students and their families who are unable to travel to campus during the week, the IU Visitor Information Center offers a guided campus tour on Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. Our student-guided tours of campus are small and personalized to suit the needs of participants.

We have no more available tours this semester. We will continue our normal Sunday tours in the Fall 2013 semester.
Self-guided Tours
Also, self-guided walking tours are possible. Simply follow the progression of locations as included in our informative brochures, or if you prefer just listening as you walk, consider our new iPod-based option.

Group Visits and Tours
Whether you are bringing a first grade class or a group of senior citizens, let us help you personalize your visit to the Bloomington campus. Our staff can recommend attractions, build your itinerary, and provide current IU students as tour guides. Available visit options:
- Self-guided tour of campus and the historic Old Crescent area
- Scavenger hunt for students in grades 3–8
For guests with mobility issues, the Visitor Information Center is able to offer tours using a golf cart, weather permitting. The golf cart can accommodate five passengers in addition to the driver. These special tours are available by appointment, pending availability and weather conditions, only from March to October.
