Last year, all in all, Indiana University students accessed more than $8 million in loans, grants and scholarships to study abroad.
Most IU financial aid may be applied to semester and academic year programs administered or co-sponsored by IU. However, there are some exceptions. Loans are the primary source of financial aid for summer programs.
Office of Overseas Study Scholarships
Overseas Study awards over $100,000 in scholarships annually on the basis of financial need and academic merit. Overseas Study Scholarships are designated in several categories:
- Program-Specific Scholarships
- Minority Scholarships
- Internship Incentive Grants
- Scholarships for Students from IUPUI and Other IU Campuses
