Eligibility

You may apply if you

  • are a degree candidate at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress,
  • have completed two 300-level Spanish courses (including one literature or linguistics course) before the program, and
  • have approximately a 3.0 GPA in Spanish
  • have approximately a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are not eligible.

  • Fees paid to IU: $252 (includes insurance)
  • Fee paid to CIC: $4,320 (academic fees, room, board, excursions)
  • Airfare from Chicago: $750

Personal expenses and vacation travel additional.

Initial prepayment of $200 due upon acceptance.
