The International Vocal Ensemble is a major ensemble in the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. To join this ensemble, students need to contact Katherine Domingo, the director of the choir, and complete the application form below. PLEASE NOTE: Submitting this application does not automatically place you in the ensemble. All new members must meet with Dr. Domingo, and confirmation of your participation in IVE will be made through e-mail within the first week of the semester. No preparation is required for the initial meeting/audition, but students may be asked to repeat melodic patterns to give the director some idea of the range of your voice. Students who enroll in MUS X070 receive two hours of credit. The choral ensemble policy for grades are based on attendance and participation at all rehearsals and performances.

The International Vocal Ensemble meets every Monday from 4:30-6:00, Tuesday from 5:00-6:00, and Wednesday from 4:30-6:00 in Music 015 (also called Sweeney Hall). The building is on Jordan Avenue next to the Musical Arts Center. Auditors and visitors are welcome.
