Our Bachelor of Arts degree provides an in-depth knowledge of Jewish studies, as well as proficiency in a language of relevance to Jewish studies. We offer a Jewish Studies minor and certificate, as well as minors in Hebrew and Yiddish. Graduate students can pursue a Master of Arts in Jewish Studies or Ph.D. minors in Jewish Studies or Yiddish.
Our undergraduate students can choose from over 40 courses each year that explore a breadth of topics including music, language, literature, history, politics, gender, and more. You can also focus your studies with our Jewish Sacred Music Curriculum and Modern Hebrew programs. Graduate students have the opportunity to learn from a variety of disciplines and to choose their own disciplinary focus.
Borns JSP is a close-knit community of faculty, staff, and alumni who work together to ensure the best possible experience for our students. Our lively atmosphere is enriched by the many extracurricular and academic activities organized by our faculty and by our Jewish Studies Student Associations.
