What Does the JSSA Do?

The JSSA promotes interaction between students and faculty while providing social and cultural extracurricular learning related to Jewish Studies

The JSSA sponsors a weekly Hebrew Table. Come speak Hebrew with other students and have a free dinner. The JSSA Hebrew table meets every Tuesday, 5:30-6:15 p.m. (beginning September 8) @ Kosher Cafe in the Hillel dining room, 730 E. Third Street.  

Tuesday, September 22 -- Jewish Studies Welcome Back Dessert in the IMU Hoosier Room, Indiana Memorial Union, 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Jewish Studies Fall Welcome Dessert, Tuesday Sept. 22 in the Hoosier Room in the IMU.  Come meet Jewish Studies faculty and students and learn about Jewish Studies, 4:30-6:00 pm.

Frisbee, Food & More. Tuesday, October 20, 4:30-6:00 p.m., Dunn Meadow

Meet the Professor (Matthias Lehmann) Free Dinner, Tuesday, November 10, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
              Hillel dining room, 730 E. 3rd St. RSVP before midnight on November 4 to bgurin@indiana.edu.

And much much more... including a panel with Jewish Studies graduate students about choosing, applying, and florishing in graduate school; an Israeli film series, etc.
