
What Does the JSSA Do?
The JSSA promotes interaction between students and faculty while providing social and cultural extracurricular learning related to Jewish Studies
The JSSA will sponsor a weekly Hebrew Table. Come practice Hebrew with other students. The JSSA Hebrew table meets every Thursday, 5:30-6:15 p.m. (beginning Jan 15) @ Kosher Cafe in the Hillel dining room, 730 E. Third Street. The Hebrew Hour is designed as an opportunity to practice speaking Hebrew.
Monday, Jan 14--Showing of "God Grew Tired of Us," a film about several Lost Boys of the Sudan and presentations by film's director Christopher Quinn, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Whittenberger Auditorium.
Wed, Feb 6--Showing of Israeli film "Close to Home ," as part of the month-long Union Board Interantional Film Festival. 8:00 p.m., Whittenberger Auditorium. Discussion after film showing. Free Middle Eastern food outside of Whittenberger Auditorium (7:30 p.m.).
