Professor Segal received her A.B. from Harvard University and her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Berkeley. She works on poetry in English and Hebrew and her research interests include literature and nationalism, literary theory, prosody and its politics. Professor Segal teaches courses in Gender and Lyric Poetry; Hebrew and Israeli Literature; Intertextuality; Nation, Language and Literature; Midrash.
