Welcome to K9IU, the Indiana University amateur radio club. We invite everyone to participate in the club activities. If you are not a licensed amateur radio operator,
we are more than happy to introduce you to this wonderful hobby and help you become a licensed operator. K9IU has a room full of radio resources at the Indiana Memorial Union
that are available for members to use at any time. There are many club activities that members and non-members alike can participate in as well. Take a look through this site
for more information, and keep an eye on our news section for updates on upcoming events.
We have RSS feeds available of the front page news and of all site content (which includes the news).

The Indiana QSO Party! We will be participating at a Multi-Operator, Multi-Transmitter. Matt, N9VKU, and Jerry, NE7I, will be a mobile/rover on our behalf! The party runs from Noon to Midnight EDT this Saturday, May 7th. Our vertical is limited in it's radiating potential right now, but that won't stop us from at least trying like crazy on 40 & 80M. The Beam is performing well for 10, 15, & 20M.
Contest rules and Exchanges will be made available at the shack for the contest.
Saturday, March 16, will be the State Science Olympiad, hosted by the College of Arts and Science, Indiana University. The Amateur Radio Club, K9IU, is organizing the ham radio support for the campus activities. ARES-RACES and BARC, will be providing volunteers to assist the K9IU effort.
