Facilities
Academic Diving Program
Care was taken not to disturb the surrounding marine environment as Dr. Charles Beeker's group excavated a 300 pound kedge anchor near the Dominican Republic. The anchor might date from the Columbus era, and Beeker's group hopes it might be from one of the explorer's lost ships.
The department of Kinesiology has facilities available for both research and education. These facilities range from laboratories to studios and are located in several places on the Indiana University, Bloomington campus.
