Overview

The graduate sport management program was founded in 1985 in response to a growing demand for better-qualified managers and administrators in professional and amateur sport. Since then the graduate sport management program has produced more than 150 graduates who are currently employed in the fields of professional, collegiate, and amateur sport. The course work provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of sport management intended to provide a thorough foundation in business and sport while allowing flexibility for students to explore a wide variety of opportunities within the field.
