National Girls and Women in Sports Day

The 6th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) event was held at Assembly Hall at Indiana University on February 12, 2006. Various Indiana University Athletic teams and organizations on campus had interactive booths available. The Hoosiers battled it out with Big Ten rival the Northwestern Wildcats, winning the HOME finale 60-46.

IU women's athletics and IU's School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation sponsored the event in partnership with the Indiana Youth Institute and Girl Scouts of Tulip Trace Inc.
