
Male Nude as a Dying Slave, 1952
This photo is one of an archive of 600 George Platt Lynes' prints collected
by Dr. Alfred Kinsey and housed at The Kinsey Institute. Lynes was widely
known in the 1930s and 1940s for his fashion photography. He also was
an accomplished dance photographer and portraitist. He is now recognized
for his figure studies of male nudes.
