For knots with 10 or fewer crossings, the table names knots using the classical names. For knots with 11 crossing the naming convention is that of Dowker-Thistlethwaite, as used by Knotscape.

Early tabulators named 11 crossing knots also, and this culminated in the enumeration of Conway, as polished by Perko. Thus, for instance, the 11 crossing knot listed as 1 by Tait, and (11) in Conway notation, is 11a_{367} in the Dowker-Thistlethwaite notation.
