This week's Lab Assignment:

L10 Conversation 1, Conversation 2

Chapter Quiz 2 on Monday (Jan. 28) will include material from Lesson 8 and 9:

Go over the conversations and narration thoroguly.
Need to be able to use the Deferential ~습니다 style both in statements and questions.
You must use a noun-modifying form to describe your residence and a birthday gift you received in your last birthday.
Go over all the honorific expressions given in the lesson.
Make sure to be able to command:
- Asking and giving direction: Study L8 C2.
- How to give information on transportation (L8 C1 & C2)
- How to ask and answer a question that is used to seek the other person's agreement (~지요?)
- Use of ~지만 to advance information that is opposite to the normally triggered expectation
Some of the questions you should be able to answer:
- What present did you receive last birthday? Who did you receive it from?
- What/who is the most . . . in the world/US?.(practice with a noun-modifying form)
