Marc Lame - Integrated Pest Management

Marc Lame is a clinical assistant professor at Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) and director of the Master of Science in Environmental Science program. Marc’s professional interests include the implementation of integrated pest management programs in schools and daycare facilities. Marc is the author of A Worm in the Teacher’s Apple: Protecting America’s School Children from Pests and Pesticides.
Integrated Pest Management
Integrated Pest Management is a process involving common sense and sound solutions for treating and controlling pests. These solutions incorporate three basic steps: 1) inspection, 2) identification and 3) treatment. Treatment options vary from sealing cracks and removing food and water sources to pesticide treatments when necessary.
