Undergrad Minor Phd Minor Spring '10 Courses Course Catalog Why Latino Studies?

Check out our Spring 2010 Course Offerings!

Latino Studies offers two core survey courses (L-101 & L-102), as well as upper-division, special topics courses (L-301, L-396, etc.). These are taught each semester by Latino Studies core faculty.

Our affiliated faculty offer additional courses in departments throughout the university--including Anthropology, Folklore & Ethnomusicology, Communication & Culture, History, Speech & Hearing, Comparative Literature, and so on.

These courses are either joint-listed (which means they meet concurrently with other courses) or cross-listed (meaning these courses award credit toward Latino Studies minor requirements).

Latino Studies courses may also be applied toward S&H, Culture, Intensive writing, or other degree or major department requirements. In addition, courses that you have previously taken that have involved a certain amount of Latino Studies content may be considered for Latino Studies credit.
