The Latino Studies minor is an excellent choice for any undergraduate who wants to broaden his or her knowledge about the Latino population of the United States. Our courses are taught by professors in communication & culture, education, history, language, law, literature, music, sociology, and other disciplines. We pride ourselves in bringing relevant scholarship into the classroom.

15 credits in College of Arts & Science courses, to include the following:
  • Three credit hours of course work chosen from LATS L101, L102, or L103
  • Three credit hours of Latino Studies course work at the 100400 level
  • Nine credit hours of Latino Studies course work at the 300400 level

(Note: Any of these courses may be joint-listed with other courses.
For example, LATS L-102 is joint-listed with History HIST A-200.
