Production Notes:

These page images were scanned, on June 8, 2001, by Jian Liu, Reference Librarian, Reference Department, Main Library E159, Indiana University Libraries (jiliu@Indiana.edu), for the League of Nations project.

Equipment included an Epson Expression 1600 scanner, attached, via the USB port, to a Dell Latitude laptop, with a Pentium III processor and 192MB ram. The software used for scanning is Adobe Photoshop 5.5, with SilverFast Ai (Version: SilverFast Epson v4.5.0 with IT-8 calibration, by LaserSoft Imaging. All images were scanned in RGB color, in 600 dpi. After Prescan, the Focus icon was clicked.

All the images are saved in Tiff format. No other manipulation was applied to the scanned images.

Each of these files are about 90mb in size. The files are copied onto five CD-ROMs, named lon_pic1, to lon_pic5, using the CD-RW on the Dell laptop. The software is Adaptec DirectCD Wizard.
