*IUPUI University Library Student Life Exhibit
University Library Special Collections and Archives Student Life Exhibit Opens
The word "university" usually conjures up images of classes, studying, and final exams, but campus life at IUPUI includes more than academics. The Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives of the University Library (UL) is presenting a view of the student experience in It's a Student's Life, a new exhibit on display through April 21, 2000.
It's a Student's Life makes use of photographs, yearbooks, newsletters, and other publications from IUPUI's thirty-year history to bring focus to such topics as student organizations, sports, and commencement. The exhibit highlights the wide range of student activities and the diversity of the IUPUI student body.
The exhibit is on display in the Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives, Room UL 0133, on the Lower Level of the IUPUI University Library, 755 West Michigan Street. The archives is open 8 AM-5 PM, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 AM-8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8 AM-Noon on Saturday. For further information, please call (317) 274-0464 or send an e-mail message to speccoll@iupui.edu.
