Becky A. White has worked at the North Manchester Public Library in a variety of positions for nearly 11 years. *Article Level Links Available via Web of Science

As of this week, IUB Libraries patrons will now find links to the full-text version of selected articles from over 480 journal titles available through Web of Science.

Many of the databases and online indexes to which the IUB Libraries subscribe offer article-level linking. In some cases, such as Web of Science, we must provide the publisher with a list of journal titles they index to which we already have online access. The publisher can then activate links to the full-text version of articles they have available.

Linking is not comprehensive -- meaning that not all articles are currently available, nor are all journal titles to which we have online access available via Web of Science. Web of Science is still developing their article-level linking process. As agreements and methods are solidified with publishers, ISI will provide us with links to more online journals and articles.

To view the links to full-text articles through Web of Science, try these sample searches.
