*Workshop at Librarians' Day

One of the workshops being presented at the April 25th Librarians' Day is "The Institutional Repository," which is being given by Randall Halverson and Amy Hatfield. If you are planning to attend this workshop, please read this information from them:

"The Institutional Repository Forum will be structured as follows:

  1. Opening Presentation - Institutional Repository general background and overview.
  2. Group discussion - Attendees move* into one of two groups: a "faculty" group and a "librarian" group. Each group will be given the same set of questions to explore regarding Institutional Repository issues; the groups will explore these according to their (faculty or librarian) perspective.
  3. Open discussion & sharing - Attendees will reconvene and the recorded answers from each group will be shared.
  4. Wrap up
*Attendees are encouraged to select a perspective he or she would like to explore, faculty or librarian, and read the priming material provided herein before the forum. Forty five minutes is not a lot of time for what we hope to accomplish, but we expect the session to be fun and valuable."
