*Effective May 21 Jason Baumgartner resigned from his position as Assistant Stacks Supervisor in Customer and Facilities Services with the Main Library at IU-Bloomington.
*Effective May 25, Daniel Logan accepted the Imaging Technician position with the Digital Library Program. Previously he was a Video Producer for the US Environmental Protection Agency. He has a BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
*Some of you may have had the pleasure of working with Minde Browning, reader services librarian at the IU School of Law--Indianapolis. I regret to report that Minde died this past Friday at the IU Medical Center, where she was being treated for cancer. Her illness came suddenly and left all of us unprepared for the magnitude of this loss. I "team taught" the law librarianship course with Minde not long ago and worked closely with her on many other occasions. She was always charming, challenging, and professional. She also had a close family and will be deeply missed by everyone. The Indianapolis Star of this morning (May 24) has details. Attached below are additional details about services.
