*Garry Harrison Accepts Collections Conservator Position

COLLECTIONS CONSERVATOR APPOINTED

Im delighted to announce that Garry Harrison has been appointed to the position of Collections Conservator in the Preservation Department. Garry has worked as a Conservation Technician in the Collections Conservation Section of the Department since December 1998. During the past ten months he has served as Acting Head of this Section. In his new position, Garry will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Libraries collections conservation program. This program focuses on damaged materials from the circulating collections that are held in the Main and Campus Libraries. In addition to overseeing conservation treatments, Garry will also be responsible for disaster planning and recovery activities.
