Effective July 29, Joan Cavanagh accepted the position of Digital Imaging Specialist, Digital Library Program, Bloomington. Prior to accepting this position, Joan worked at School of Continuing Studies at Indiana University. She has a B.F.A. degree in Art from University of Massachusetts.
Effective July 15 Cynthia Baxter retired from her position as Cataloger in the Monographic Original Cataloging Unit of Technical Services at IU-Bloomington.

Mary Pelzer Hudson assumed her new duties as Reference and Circulation Librarian at the Ruth Lilly Law Library on July 1, 2002. Ms. Hudson returns to the Law Library faculty after 13 years as Associate Director for Technical Services at Case Western Reserve University Law Library in Cleveland, Ohio. She brings many years of experience in academic libraries including University of Notre Dame Law Library and DePauw University Roy O. West Library. Ms Hudson served as Acquisitions/Serials Librarian at Indiana University Law Library-Indianapolis from 1984 to 1989.
A native of Indianapolis, Ms. Hudson received a B.A. in Education degree from Ball State University and an M.L.S. degree from Indiana University. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries. In her spare time Ms. Hudson enjoys travel, amateur photography, very amateur golf, and films.
