Effective September 9, Alisa Rata accepted the position of Metadata Cataloger, Technical Services, Bloomington. Prior to accepting this position, Alisa worked hourly in the Music Library. She has an M.L.S from Indiana University.
Effective September 16, Jennifer Hill accepted the position of Acquisitions Coordinator, Technical Services/Acquisitions Division, Bloomington. Prior to accepting this position, Jennifer worked at Indiana University Press.
*Visiting Assistant Librarian, Interim Librarian for English & American Literature, Film Studies and Philosophy
Effective September 9, 2002, Kate Quarles will become Visiting Assistant Librarian, Interim Librarian for English & American Literature, Film Studies and Philosophy. Kate's library experience encompasses a broad range of functions including cataloging and acquisitions, reference services, collection development, bibliographic instruction, and outreach services. From 1985 to 1997, she was a part of the teaching faculty at Johnson & Wales University in Virginia, and served as Culinary Department Chairperson in 1992. She earned an MLS in 2000 and also holds a Specialist Degree in Reference and Collection Development received in 2001 from Indiana University's School of Library and Information Science. Her undergraduate work at Old Dominion University and IU focused in the areas of English Literature, Film Studies, and American Drama. Kate comes to her current position from the Acquisitions Unit of the Technical Services Department at Indiana University.
