*INSPEC Visiting Thursday, October 9, 2003
Dana Armstrong from INSPEC will be giving a brief, IU-customized overview of the database focusing on informatics and computing literature. INSPEC is not just for physics; it is a good resource for finding information on multidisciplinary topics such as e-business, adaptive technologies, speech and hearing, computer modeling and simulation, information science, telecommunications, and more. It is international in scope, covers journal and conference literature, and includes selected books, reports, and dissertations. As the School of Informatics continues merger discussions, come learn how INSPEC can be a key resource for that community and others.
