When You Have a Great Idea But No Money...

Obtaining financial support for research or a special project can be frustrating and difficult. To aid you in your quest for adequate funding, the BLFC Continuing Education Committee is sponsoring an upcoming program centered around the delicate art of grantsmanship. The principal speaker will be Marcia Landen from the Sponsored Research Services Office of RUGS (Research & The University Graduate School). She will offer advice on how to locate funding sources and share strategies on how to prepare a successful grant proposal. Other speakers will include librarians who have either been recipients of grants or have served as readers of grant proposals.

        Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Mark your calendars to join us for an engaging and informative discussion on this important topic.

P.S. If you have been the recipient of a grant and would like to share your experience with your colleagues or perhaps offer advice, please contact a committee member.
