*Support Grant given to East Asian Collection

The East Asian Collection has received a $8,000 grant support from The Daesan Foundation in Seoul, Korea. The grant will be given in the form of books. For the next two to three months, the East Asian Collection will be sending to the foundation lists of Korean books in humanities and Korean literature, as needed by the Korean studies program at IU. The foundation will purchase the books in Korea with the grant money and send the books back to the library, with postage and handling costs paid by the foundation.
