1. THANKS!!!

To make space for newer materials, Swain Hall Library has been transferring selected serials to storage in the Main Library over the past nine months. It has been a slow and steady process that involved cooperation among several library units. The project went exceptionally well thanks to the conscientious work of many people. I want to thank Steve Forrest from Swain, Mechael Gago from Serials, and the following people from Access Services: Ben Baker, Diego Bellon, Steve Latterell, Greg Weaver, Kore Riesterer, Robbie Norris, Keith Welch, and Vaughn Nuest.

--Jean Poland, Head, Swain Hall Library

3. MASTER CALENDAR

There is a master calendar in Library Personnel where we list most meetings and training sessions that have been widely announced. Lynne Webb (lywebb) maintains this calendar, and you can let her know if you want something listed. If you're scheduling a meeting and want to avoid conflicts, consulting the master calendar may help.
