Cinda May attended the annual meeting of the Midwestern American Society for Eighteenth Century Studies in Chicago, October 15-18, and was named president for 1998. MWASECS is a regional affiliate of the American Society for Eighteenth Century Studies, an interdisciplinary association which promotes research and intellectual exchange between scholars interested in the 18th century.
2. IUPD PRESENTATION ON SAFETY
On November 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Media Showing Room 174, the IUPD will give a presentation on personal safety issues and how we can better take care of ourselves. The program will include a presentation of the various issues that concern us as well as time for questions and answers. Please join your colleagues for an interesting presentation.
