This summer, the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies (SCS) and Center for Excellence in Education will sponsor three week-long distance learning workshops.

"In the past," says Michael Yoakam, director of the SCS Office of Technology Resources, "we offered the same comprehensive workshop three times. Evaluations from those workshops showed that participants were eager to receive more in-depth training. This year, we'll offer the traditional comprehensive workshop from May 18 to 22. From June 1 to 5, we'll offer a workshop on web-based teaching and learning; and from June 22 to 26, we'll focus on video-based distance learning."

The workshops will be held on the IU campus in Bloomington. The $1,000 fee for each workshop covers all learning materials, continental breakfasts, and lunches.
