Effective July 8, Jennifer Corbin resigned from her position as Serials Control Coordinator in Serials.
Effective July 9, Katherine Frisch resigned from her position as Purchasing Accounts Control Coordinator in MPS.
Effective July 16, Jon Hansen resigned from his position as Electronic Systems Coordinator in Undergraduate Library Services.
Effective June 30, Yvonne Reinier retired from her position as Barcode Specialist in MPS.
Effective June 24, Keith Welch accepted the Computer Support Technician position in Customer and Facilities Services. Prior to this, Keith held the position of Assistant Stacks Supervisor in Customer and Facilities Services.
Effective July 7, Yvonne Wittmann resigned from her position as Serials Conversion Coordinator for Government Publications in Serials.
Nancy Boerner has been elected Secretary of the West European Specialists Section (WESS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries. Her term runs from July 1998 through June 1999.
Rosanne M. Cordell and Nancy W. Colborn, Schurz Library, presented "Assessment of Instruction Programs in the 21st Century: Moving from Subjective to Objective Assessments of Your Instruction Program" at LOEX of the West, a national library instruction conference, on June 18, 1998 in Cedar City, Utah.
