Indiana University faculty, teaching staff, associate instructors (all campuses) and Bloomington-area primary and secondary educators:
- May borrow up to three (3) tapes for a two (2) week period
- May not have more than three (3) tapes checked out at any given time
- Must sign agreement on the loan card not to duplicate materials
- May renew all tapes via telephone (5-8631) for a maximum period of two (2) additional weeks if the call is made before the tape is overdue
- Failure to return or renew item by due date may result in suspension of borrowing privileges and a fine of $25 per tape
- Up to five (5) pages of documentation will be provided free of charge
Indiana University graduate and undergraduate students (Bloomington campus):
- May borrow up to three (3) tapes for a twenty-four (24) hour period FOR CLASS PRESENTATION ONLY
- Must fill out all class information on the back of the loan card
- Must sign agreement on the loan card not to duplicate materials
- May not renew tapes past the initial twenty-four (24) hour period
- Tapes may not be checked out over the weekend
- Borrowers will be fined $1 per tape per hour via Bursar's check list for tapes not returned by 5:00 PM on the due date
- Up to five (5) pages of documentation will be provided free of charge
Patrons not affiliated with Indiana University may use materials upon presenting a valid ID, but are not allowed to remove materials from the Archives' listening library. Photocopies of documentation are available for $0.10 a page. Please see Duplication for policies regarding duplication of sound materials for research.
Note: Fines per hour are accumulated only for hours the Archives is open.
