There are over thirty different ERIC publication types including books, dissertations, classroom guides, and research reports. You may limit your searches by using the Limit Your Results section of the search screen.

We will conduct a search for the publication type research reports and combine it with S6 in the Search History.

1. Type S3 in the Find box. (This is the result set for de computer assisted instruction and de social studies that we did earlier in the tutorial.)
2. Scroll down until you see Publication Type:
3. Using the scroll bar in that section of the screen, Locate and highlight Reports-Research
4. Click the Search button.
5. After reviewing the search results click the New Search option.
